Today you will start working with the program Fireworks. This program is a part of the CS3 package. using this program will allow you to manipulate and create customized images. Images are available through the S: drive. Use the procedures outlined on page 99.

Page 100 and page 101 ( on your own) - Gardenscape logo. You will assemble the logo as shown in Illustration A on page 101

Page 106- Tree. In this activity you will learn how to use the magic wand and transparency tool in order to extract key components of an image.

Your MY SITE is due this FRIDAY. Make sure that you have the peer evaluation complete for your site. Take your partners comments seriously and make the appropriate changes. Editors make sure that you take your responsibilities seriously. You are the client who is establishing the effectiveness of the web site.

After you have had a peer look over your site and you still are not sure that everything is just right.....ASK ME....I am not marking at this point rather guiding you to your best work possible.

Once you are sure the project is ready for evaluation, then submit.

Go through the introduction to worksheets but DO NOT do the LET ME TRYS. I would recommend the SHOW ME's since many of you do not use this software application often.

Go through this unit and do ALL the LET ME TRYS......YES all of them.

Go to unit 1 and go through the powerpoint tutorial. You do not need to do the let me try's however you do need to understand how to use the basic components. Use this as a review.
Go to unit 5 and complete the Hot Air Balloon slide show.

WHEN this is all done then get the assignment sheet from the teacher. You are now developing a POWERPOINT GAME.

Highlight the text that you want to link.
Right click on it
Scroll down until you activate HYPERLINK
In this dialogue box select- PLACE IN THIS DOCUMENT
