So your coffee cup should look really pretty good by now. Don't forget the steam coming out of the top.
Todays task will focus on bringing in an image as the fill for the text, instead of just plain colour sets.
Page 125 - Gardenscape logo
Page 126- Java2Go - Wrapping text. This is a really useful and creative technique that can be used later on with your own personal logo that you will be designing.
Page 132- Tierraverde - Treeline mask.

Today you will start working with the program Fireworks. This program is a part of the CS3 package. using this program will allow you to manipulate and create customized images. Images are available through the S: drive. Use the procedures outlined on page 99.

You have all been doing very well with the tasks outlined in this blog so far. Take your time and ensure that you are understanding the procedures that you are completing. It is not a race.

Page 80 - Summary Exercise *Skip #3
** Go back to all your previous files and double check your spelling. As I have walked around the room I have seen multiple spelling mistakes.
Page 92 - Exercise Directions- Gardenscape- Be aware that the horizontal rule may not change colours-- just a glitch.
Page 93- ON YOUR OWN - Java2Go, Practice changing background colours and adding horizontal rules.

Final culminating projects are well under way. Make sure that you have your copy of your assignment with you during class. You need to ensure that all components of the projects are met. If you have forgotten your project take a copy to use from the side wall.
