Friday Feb 25th

Todays task will focus on bringing in an image as the fill for the text, instead of just plain colour sets.

Page 126- Java2Go - Wrapping text. This is a really useful and creative technique that can be used later on with your own personal logo that you will be designing.

Wednesday February 23rd

Today you will start working with the program Fireworks. This program is a part of the CS3 package. using this program will allow you to manipulate and create customized images. Images are available through the S: drive. Use the procedures outlined on page 99.

Task

Page 100 and page 101 ( on your own) - Gardenscape logo. You will assemble the logo as shown in Illustration A on page 101

Page 106- Tree. In this activity you will learn how to use the magic wand and transparency tool in order to extract key components of an image.

Final culminating projects are well under way. Make sure that you have your copy of your assignment with you during class. You need to ensure that all components of the projects are met. If you have forgotten your project take a copy to use from the side wall.
